Being a mom is definitely not easy...You have to balance a lot....I had my son at age 15 and daughter at 19, and I was just a baby myself....It really slowed me down, which had it's advantages and disadvantages...I just had to embrace life, and move forward....I am proud to say that my children does do not have to be raised up in a single parent home like I was; they also see there parents going to school to make a better living for them.... We're not perfect, but I try to raise my children the best I know how...Thanks circle of moms for your blogs it helps in so many ways..

Being a mother is AMAZING. The love you have for your child is unconditional. I love being a mother. Yes there are hard times but once you make it through you know you can accomplish ANYTHING. My daughter is my world, my angel, my everything. She is the reason I live the blessed life I do. I see everything so much different as a mother.

It's my world. When I see my daughter dance across the room, or my son show me his big toothless grin... It makes me melt. I wasn't supposed to be able to conceive children, so having these two miracles is what matters most to me. They are mine and my husband's world. The little moments are what matter most, too. That smile Wyatt gives me when I pick him up, or Addison telling me she loves me. I wouldn't trade my motherhood days for the days of freedom for anything. They are what makes me who I am today. I have never known a love so deep and unconditional as that of the love of my children. The first time I held my daughter, the entire room was in tears because it was a long and enduring process to get there. And as for the first time I held my son.. It was a moment of sheer amazement at what I was so blessed to have.

Being a mom is the BEST thing that ever happened to me. When I was younger, my father drank ALOT. My mother would never stand up for me and usually the physical abuse got taken out on me instead of my siblings, unfortunately I don't bruise. I found out I was pregnant at 15. I had been going to a social worker because I was suicidal. I felt like no one cared about me. I was not allowed to be happy about my pregnancy, but after labor, my dad came into the hospital room and apologized for being an bad father my whole life and told me he was proud of me for dealing with everything so maturely.
My daughter is 3.5 now and my father and I have the best relationship! Just knowing that I will always have someone who needs me and loves me unconditionally is the BEST feeling in the world. (and her father, my now husband, helps too)
