I'm due in 14 weeks with my first son. I've been reading up alot on diaper brands, I only want what's best for Gabriel. I'm leaning towards Pampers. I know every baby is different, but what were your experiences with different brands of diapers? Thanks. (:

Pampers! I tried using Huggies which, at first they were okay but then when I went into size 2's I found the ones I bought a little stiff so then we tried Parent's Choice which we didn't like either.
I was also told to spend the extra bit on good diapers because they are important thing to have :)

I didnt read all of these but all I saw was pampers and huggies. Im going to be the oddball. I use the BJ's Warehouse brand it is ummm Shoot I cant think of the name but their store brand ones and I LOVE then I use them and get them for cheaper than tha walmart brand. I wouldnt go back to name brand after using them they are FABULOUS!

Pampers are best not only because of the protection but they are SUPER soft. Huggies left red marks on my daughters bottom and you can just imagine how that feels. When they are a little older i switched to Luvs because they are 2 dollars cheaper and are stretchy and soft.

I switch back & forth between pampers and huggies. Huggies during the day because I find they have a nicer fit under clothes, and Pampers at night because I think they are softer. This system works really well for my daughter, but every baby is different. Find one that likes your baby. :)

ive tryed pampers, huggies, store brands and the beat ive found is luvs, my daughter could pe right thru the others, but not 1 leak with luvs!!!! PLUS they have the leak free garuntee!!! if they leak they will replace or refund, LUVS R AMAZING, and they r cheaper than pampers and huggies but for my daughter they work better than any out there

I tried the Shoppers Drug Mart store brand, my daughter peed and pooped out of them 4 out of 5 diaper changes. The Wal-Mart store brand ( Parent's Choice got HARD instead of gelly when she was wet. Pampers were alright but you could see through them when holding them up to the light even though they say they have 3 layers and Huggies only has two. In answer to your question I think Huggies are the best, plus I've found dozens of coupons for Huggies diapers and not One for Pampers. Good luck!

When my daughter was a baby, I started her off with Luvs. She immediately got a rash so I changed her to huggies. Again, she got a rash. Changed her to pampers and never really had a problem. She had some leakage but that was only when she peed enormous amounts! I use pampers and huggies now though for their pull-up training pants! Neither of them seem to bother her and both work just as well. I definately preferred the Pampers newborn diapers though when she was just born! Hope this helps! Try both, see which you like better and good luck!

I use Pampers Cruisers. My daughter is very chubby and its the only one that doesn't give her red marks on her legs.

Pampers Swaddlers and/or Pampers All Natural are good for little babies. I find the cotton they are made of less irritating to sensitive skin and flex more to baby's curvy thighs. For toddlers Huggies or Luvs. They are inexpensive and more realistic to toddlers running around needs. Hope this helps.

Personally, I like Pampers. When my son was born we tried Huggies New Baby. He would blow out of each diaper. We then tried Pampers Swaddlers New Baby and they worked till he started to get bad rashes from the diapers but they feel nice and soft. We then tried Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive New baby and they worked the best. You can tell when they are wet cause the line on the diaper turns blue. They are awesome. I say Pampers all the way. Try Swaddlers and if they don't work like your baby breaks out, try the sensitive new baby from pampers.! Good luck!

DEFINATLY NOT HUGGIES!!!!! pampers are the best nappies ever, dont leak and stay dry, huggies burnt all my babies bum , it was bleeding and everything , realy painful for him when i wiped him and thats all because i used huggies nappies.i have tried lots of different nappies and the best are pampers!! :)

I have found that everyone finds diff. ones work best for their kids. I have used luvs, huggies, pampers and kroger brand. hated huggies, my son leaked through almost everyone, even within an hour of a diaper change. I use kroger brand for my 2 1/2 y.o. and my 20 month old. they dont irritate like some and they never leak.

I use pampers-swaddlers aswell. I like them cuz they seem softer and more comfortable but i have a little girl and i was told some brands are better for little boys then they are for little girls you might want to look into that but i hope you find the brand your looking for.

huggies is the best. the lock and leak protection is wonderful, I tried luvs never failed everytime there was a leak, pampers were the exact same way as luvs and gave a huge rash.

Pampers are softer and the swaddlers with the wetness indicator is really good for young babies. ive tried all the brands and the pampers are my favorite. but if you want cheap, target brand diapers work very well and are soft.

i have a 3 months old little girl, i used pampers swaddlers when she was a new born but also used huggies, both of them are really good diapers. pampers seemed to be a little thinner than huggies but i am now using Luvs because they are cheaper but i have not had any problems with leaks or rashes and i think i actually like the Luvs better.

pampers for sure!!! they're soft and comfortable for the baby.my son has never worn anything else.the soft material definately helps prevent diaper rash.oh and a lil advice since ur having a boy.when and if u decide 2 get him cercumcised they will give u some patrolium gause pads to put on it.but only use it for the first few days.after like 3 or 4 days switch to desiden diaper rash ointment.it works alot better.if u use the patrolium gause to much it will not heal as fast.and also with his embilical cord take a q-tip with some clear rubbing alcohol and put it on there.it helps dry it out so it will fall of quicker. let it fall off on its own.it should take about 2-3 weeks.

huggies for boys!!!! pampers for girls I have a 4 year old girl whom I despised huggies and swore i would never use them because they always leaked with her...then I had my son who is 20 months and I love them. He never leaks out and the pampers are just too wide for his parts so since your having a son get huggies!

i used pampers with both of my girls when they were born but then when they became a little older, i switched to store name brands. Personally i LOVE Aldi diapers the best. i dont know if you have an Aldi store where you are but if you do, try them out. honestly store brand ones work as well as others, and only time they would leak is at night when my youngest still got up in the middle of the night for a bottle. they save you money too, which is great for a teen mom!

I used pampers when my daughter was first born. Then we switched over to huggies because we had plenty of them as gifts. However, it did not work out for my daughter. She hated them. They were very hard and it gave my daughter rashes. So we switched back to pampers and she loves them. She sleeps better with pampers. They are much softer then huggies.

I used pampers wen my son was born because dat was wat the hospital provided. Once i left da hospital, I switched to Huggies. Wen my son poops, he poops a good deal and the Pampers brand and the Luv's brand diapers wouldnt hold it all. With these diapers, whenever he pooped, the diaper would "hang down" and as a result, some would end up on his back and/or legs and I didnt like dat. Since i switched to huggies, I havent had those problems.

used pampers when my daughter was born because they were the only ones that made preemie diapers at the time, then i used luvs because the other brands had a pink or blue lining in them which caused a rash. that was a long time ago though (she's 16 now)

i tryed huggies pampers and boots own brand i found that boots worked a treat and were cheaper. i used pampers when my daughter was first born and always leaked through. huggies are good all depending on luck, i had packets which where amazing and packets where she would leak through and fall apart. I was always worried about using cheaper brand products and moaned when my husband brought them home, but im glad he did i would never change them, they are alot thicker then other leading brand, my daughter never leaked, and are good for new walkers too as they have nappies for all ages and stages! would deffinatly reccomend, hope this helps! :D
