What is your prefered brand of diapers? Why?

either luvs or huggies...they both are good on avoided leaking and very comfortable for the little one

Honestly, I preferred Pampers Swaddlers for the newborn stage. Then I like Huggies stage 1 for the next stage. Then I found that they started to leak and I switched to Luv's and those have worked the best for me ever since (she is in stage 5 now) so I went thru all of them! I recently bought her some Huggies again and they still don't work that great so I'm going back to Luv's. They are cheaper then huggies n pampers and work twice as well so why not! :)

i prefer huggies to be honest. they are very absorbent and fit perfectly so that the baby can move around more easily. i havent tried any other nappies x

The hospital supplied Pampers at the hospital, and I continued to use them when we went home, but they leaked. So, I switched to Huggies, and they didn't leak at all. Huggies worked best for my daughter.

huggies at the best. they are great leak protection for newborns. also huggies have the belly button thing where it doesn't mess with it. they are some great diapers.

at my baby shower i got tons of diapers , when i brought my daughter home i used pampers swaddlers because shes a smaller baby , when i used huggies for a while they didnt seem to work all that great , they fit funny and leaked alot . id say pampers !

You are lucky...here in SA we go huggies, pamper....the cheap once that are NASTY and then the towel nappies which are hard work....!!

Luv's is a great brand. It's a lot like the pricey diapers like huggies and pampers. But cost way less. Never have had leaks or problem at all with it.

LUVS is my favorite. They are the cheapest kind and they have never given my son a diaper rash or made him uncomfortable. And they dont leak at all.

I am a Huggies mommy! I did try the pampers...but it seemed not right for my girls...they were cutting into them...as their little girl bums seemed not to fit! (pearshaped as the whole family...not a good trate I passed on)!
I have made a little survey with my friends 21 of us and notice that the mommies with boys went for pampers and the mommies with girls for huggies. ~~~ I think it has to do with the direction of the wee and how good each on works for each gender~~~
But I must say the HUGGIE gold works like a charm on an active baby as the Huggie dry comfort only work with non active babies...I have really tried this out and got very frustrated with the dry comforts on my tot as I seemed to be putting new cloths on all the time as the huggie gold...well the washing loads are smaller.

At the end of the day it is your decision... I suggest buy a pack of newborns of each make and see what work for you and baba...( you go through the newborns very quickly so you do not have to worry that you will waste any money)

on newly born babies i would say pampers newborn are good cos they're thin and soft.. but when they grow up a bit i switch to huggies. they're better overnight around 4months. pmpers left red marks on my baby's bum but huggies didn't! :) it just depends on baby's skin and size..

i am a huggies fan.,they can be expensive so if you still want a name brand that wont leak and are on a budget Luvs is the way to go. they stretch and never had any leaking problems.,so either one are good

luvs is what i use too! they can take a lot and my daughter never got diaper rash. i started using store-brand diapers when she was just turning 2 because she started to potty train and there was really no need for them, only for accidents and bed time

Pamper Swaddlers size newborn.... Huggies size 1 and from then on I used Luv's. Everything else is leaky or causes a rash. Luv's is kinda like not real expensive but not cheap cheap like store brands either. I found they hold a huge amount of liquid (sometimes i can't barely close them! and still no leaks!!!!)

honestly i have to buy both my oldest is 2 n she has been a pampers baby pretty much the whole time .. but my youngest is 6 months old and we found huggies are the only ones that fit her little butt the right way shes got a tiny lil bum and short lil legs .. so i haev to say they both have ther pros and cons ... the youngest did leak out of pampers alot so the best advice i have is u might have to experiment with both.. but incase u were wonderin i also tried the walmart brand and shoppers brand n found they both suck

i used pampers for my son they are great! he couldnt use huggies he broke out in rashes. and with my daughter i use pampers i love pampers!!

We used Pampers and I hated them! They leaked ALL the time and left little absorbent gel beads EVERYWHERE. I finally switched to Huggies Little Snugglers (I think that's what they're called) and have only had his diaper leak twice out of all 60 somewhat diapers.



Generally from what I've heard, Huggies are better for boys. Also, just a tip, when you change your little guy's diaper make sure you point his pee-pee down. I learned that the hard way!

I really like pampers for newborns and preemies...not so much for size 1 and up. I really like Huggies for size 1 and up and also the Kirkland brand from Costco, that is the kind I'm sticking with.... I got 416 diapers for $50 ...that's pretty cheap =] I like the Kirkland brand because they are styled like Huggies (flexable waist) and they are not cheaply made (they don't leak) but are cheap in price.



A good Idea is to buy a small packet of each brand and buy gift cards from the store so you can figure out wich ones you like for your baby and still stock up ..so you don't buy a bunch of diapers that you find you dislike.

Pampers always! I have used them for the past 7 months and never one problem! They even last through the whole night without leaking, and huggies arent as soft as pampers, I use the pampers swaddlers and they are amazing.

pa,pers newborn are rubbish. huggies new baby are brilliant, but pampers baby dry are good too, i tend to use both brands, and if my baby leakes out of them or isnt comfortable in them, i dont use them anymore. it is best to experiment yourself to see what you prefer

HUGGIES! all the way..they are soo much better then all the rest especially bcus like pampers and stuff are like napkins...huggies got so much more protection..i just love them i dont use ne thing else. i was given some other different brands at my baby shower but i gave them aawy...dont ever use cheap diapers plus i was told those ones are more likely to give ur baby a rash bcus they pee like once or twice and its full coming out the side. so i would recommend HUGGIES! love them n i used them on my daughter since she wa born she only weighed 6lbs so they work for all different sizes...

i've used pampers from day one.

however my boyfriends grandma couldn't find them once in his size so she got huggies super dry instead .. I HATED THEM! they felt like cardboard and weren't as stretchy as pampers .. plus its the same with the wipes huggies feel papery and dry too me pampers wipes have my moisture it seems to me.

It really is about your preference. I started with pampers because as a baby, I couldn't use anything else, I got rashes all the time. With my son I loved pampers but use Huggies now because Costco sells them in those big things. He's fine with whatever brand though, so it's all up to you. At first he would get rashes all the time with this generic brand my husband bought, but he's ok now. So I'd just take samples they send you in the mail and use them on your son and find which one you and he like best :)

I started with pampers but it gave my son an enormous rash then i went to huggies but after a while it started breaking and leaking because my son was big and then my friend told me about cuddlers and i started using it and never had a problem with it.

huggies are more for the bigger baby and pampers are for smaller babies. i adore pampers. i tried huggies out and they leaked when my daughter would go to the bathroom. pampers stay folded open when you change them and huggies seem to fold shut. pampers are more softer than huggies. its totally up to you. give both of them a shot if you'd like to see which you like better. i wouldn't bother with cheap diapers such as white cloud or parents choice, they feel like sand paper and aren't that great. the bonus thing about pampers and huggies newborn diapers, they have a stripe that changes colors when they went to the bathroom (you'll be able to feel and tell anyways)

Huggies didnt work for my son, they were always leaking. So I switched to Luvs and they worked fantastic and the are on the cheaper side

i definitely agree with megan. huggies lock and leak protection or huggies little snugglers... i have a 5 month old son and when he was born of course i got pampers... big mistake, he leaked out of everyone of them... they dont have very good leak protection at all.

huggies lock n leak protection..they are wonderfull...good on sensitive skin and dont leak at all...i strongly recommend them.
