my first thought was thank god I don't have to be induced now (i went into labour on the 12th of Oct and i was meant to be induced on the 13th!!) my second thought was Shit and "matt get my mum!!" haha

i know this might sound terrible but i was kinda annoyed because i was at the mc donalds drive through and i was realy hungry! and my waters broke when i was in the car and i had to drive to the hospital but i was soooo hungry if i could go back in time i would of just brought some food but i was stressed out lol i didnt actually go into active labor so i would of had time to buy the food and eat it hahahahah i sound like such a fatty but its ok my babys father brought me some chicken nuggets from mc donalds the next day and i was verry happy lol i was also 9 days over due so i was kinda silly to think i could go out without any problems. i had been experiencing labor pains all day but i thought i was just really hungrey

Haha, I was sheduled to be induced at 7am on Feb 2nd, and that morning while getting ready I was so nervous and shaky, I seriously wanted back out and hide under a rock somewhere, but as big as I was a rock would not cover everything. Anyways, the hospital called and changed the time so I was sheduled for 12:30. The whole time I was nervous and scared up until my contractions started and I was given drugs, I seriously slept my whole labor, even when they broke my water. the only time I really got cranky is 2 hours after they broke my water and the contractions woke me up and I wanted my epidural. I remember freaking out because they were taking so long. The hospital that I delieverd at was the same hospital my mom worked at and she works in the maternity ward, so I kept telling her to go find her friends and tell them I wanted my epidural and I wanted it now. After the epidural I slept right up until the nurse checked me and said "well, you can start pushing anytime now, or we can just wait", those were the famous words I had been waiting for, but after she said it I chickend out and told her she should just have demanded I pushed instead of giving me an option. I made my decision to push and i was so scared, excited, and whatever else feelings.

hey, i woke up round 4am also with my water braking i was running around the house like a mad woman thinking id just wet myself i was freaking out how i was in for a day full of pain lol but luckily i had my beautiful daughter that night at 7:29pm by emergency c-section

my labour went reli well...... so well i diddnt even know it was happening!

my daughter was born on a wednesday and the day before that bout 3 in the afternoon i got a reli bad headache and just felt kinda sick generaly not well, the pain started later that night and i was awake all night because it would go away and then come back, i called my mum in the morning and she said it musnt be labour because i would know she said i would just be able to tell so i took a panadol and but up with the pains, i got worried and called the hospital round midday and they told me not to come in untill my waters broke. i called my mum again and told her what the hospital had said she said to keep waiting because it could be braxton hicks because i was not in much pain , i started throwing up at for o clock and had my " show" thats when i knew i was in labour the very first thing i did was cry and started telling mydelf " I CANT DO THIS" my bf called my mum and she came over she was here by 6 and we left for the hospital at ten to 7, when we got there the nurse did her check and i was 8cm dialated we went into the delivery room and my daughter was born at 7:27

"oh god not yet!" i was only 28 weeks.. they stopped it but i had to have a c-section when i had my son so that was my labor experiance. i cried the whole time i was in the hospital at 28 weeks. i was so scared. the day before my contractions started i had a gush of fluids.. they said i peed myself... later on they did an ultra sound and said my fluids were low so my water DID leak! but when i got to the hospital and they hooked me up to the no stress test machine and confirmed i was having contractions every 8-9 minuets thats when i freaked. the day did have a funny twist though before they hooked me up i went in the doctor came in (it was a very small hospital didn't even have a nursary never mind a NICU) i told him about the contractions and he asked if i had any lfuids coming and i said " well i think i may be leaking a bit" and he looks off to the side and mouths F*ck. when everything was fine and my son was okay i had to laugh about it because i had never seen a doctor swear like that! i had the whole hospital in a panic trying to transfer me to a bigger hospital!

I was at the movies with my bf and his mom. I didn't want to believe is because we were just kidding around about not wasting our money and having to leave and because it was my due dat and my doc told me he would most likely be late. I tried to suck it up but eventually wispered to my bf that we needed to leave. My water never broke but I was in hard labour from the beginning and thought I was going to die.

i got induced with my first 2 kids.. and with the 3rd pregnancy i was 29weeks gone with twins.. i couldnt sleep and was having a weird pain.. i was in denial i recon.. and didnt wanna look stupid if i went in and it was nothing.. so i put up with it.. finally went in about 2hrs later and i was 8cm dialated.. they came out that day.. at first when i saw my mucus plug while i was at home i thought it was to early they r premmies.. but once at hospital i was calm as and laughing.. but then they spent 9weeks and 5days in hospital..

that i couldnt be in labour because it wasnt very bad pain lol. 5mins apart for 22 hours before i had her and up until the end it just felt like gas pain or cramping and was easy to deal with

I was induced, But i was 5 cm dilated and fully efaced before i even went to the hospital. My midwife had me go in at noon and didnt even check me until i started pushing my daughter was born at 5:56 and she didnt even brake my water till 1 o'clock so a little over 5 hours which wasnt bad.

yep no pain at all .. and then labour started on the 2nd evening, I was admitted to the hospital about 7.30am and my son was out about 11am so I cantcomplain how long my labour was. I feel sorry for the mums-to-be go through long labour ...

Oh I'm dying and no one cares! yeah it felt like I was gonna die right there on that freakin hospital bed. and lucky me they had to break my water both times :( hated it now that really hurt!

I was induced and told my doctor I wouldn't believe things were actually happening until I felt the pain...when my labor started kicking in my doctor came in and I just looked at him in the eyes and said "I BELIEVE"! I had a short labor and my thoughts the entire time were about breathing only!

I was induced for 12 hours and nothing happend so i was heading to bed to relax to get ready for the next day to be induced. my doctor even went home it didnt even seem like anything would happen since i wasnt dialated. well who would geuss as i hoped in my bed my water broke. i went from nothing to 10 cm dialated in 2 hours and 45 mins pushing my daughter out it went so fast that the nurses delieved half of her by the time the doctor came. while all this was happening i was shocked. i was only able to recieve laughing gas and morphine.

Hi Gemma,

I was in the similar situation to you as well. I got up at 4am, and thought I had wet the bed, I was too tired to even think my water broke. So I took the bed sheets off the bed and wanted to put the new bed sheets but got too tired so I ended up sleeping on the floor that early morning.



Not until about 4-5 hours later one of my girlfriends told me that my water had broke and I need to check with the hospital, so I did. And yes it my water broke not my wetting the bed. My labour didnt start until 2 days later.

when i went into labour my waters broke first and i just stood there and though id wet myself lol and when i woke my partner up he said oh cant it wait lol and he thought i was joking i was a bit sacred coz i didnt no what was really happening but i couldnt stop laughing that was intill the pain got worst lol, how did you find labour?
