My baby just turned 4 months today and i am trying to get him started on baby food.He eats the food but while he is eating it he makes a weird face so i do not know whether he is enjoying or not.I want to find a better way of giving him food to get him interested in it more.I need advice!

Imagine you were in his shoes. From the moment you were born all you know is milk (be it breast milk or formula) and then all of a sudden you got this mushy, strange stuff in your mouth that doesnt taste or fell like anything you have ever had before. Of course you would pull a funny face!
Give him time to adjust before you start worrying.
Try simple things with very little flavour in it, like the baby cerial. Dont try to rush him, because before you know it he is going to be eating you out house and home anyway, lol

I am trying to start him on baby food because when ever me or my boyfriend is eating he always try to reach for our food,and seems like just formula alone is not enough for him.

Some of the foods that I tried to feed my daughter took 20 plus times before she really would adjust to the taste and texture of it, I mixed her food with just a little bit of a cereal to give it a different texture for her and with some of the baby food she wanted the cereal and others she didnt. Don't give up on the baby eating the food just because you have tried it a few times and they give you a funny face! Lol.

so I've seen this face when either the texture or the flavor of the food is off for my 7-month-old. He isn't going to like every food he tries, and he may later come to like one he doesn't like now. This young I'd stick to rice cereal and single-ingredient/beginner foods. The baby food jars are usually labeled with a "1." Formula or breastmilk will still be his main source of nutrition, but then you can offer him baby food until he's no longer interested. My daughter Mya was ready about 4 months to start solids, but all the people around me including doctors were so against me starting it that soon. (They suggest 6 months) However, I still allowed Mya to start sampling some jar foods. At first she would give me the same face and I thought she hated it but I started mixing it with baby ceral and she liked that texture better? Maybe try that or maybe try a different kind of jar food if you haven't already?

He'll let you know when he's ready mine were both different one started solids earlier than the other. Sometimes the first taste they're unsure about but them get use to it. Sometimes it's the texture.
