You should start feeding your baby finger foods between eight and ten months. You might find the webpage www.babycenter.com helpful. You just type a question and your answer comes up. Good luck

You usually can as soon as they can pinch their thumb and pointer fingers together to be able to pick it up herself. And if you are already feed her pureed foods and she isn't chocking or having any problems, then it's a good time to start. To make things easier you might want to introduce the sippy cup as well! My youngest was eating regular foods and off the bootle by 9 months. She skipped over baby foods completely, she wanted nothing to do with it! Best of luck!
