Its not that they dont care. We have aq relationship wit the baby before its born. dads dont get that. So when the baby comes then they get the relationship.

society does teach men that showing feelings is a sign of weakness it's silly but true always ask if he cares never assume he doesn't

It's not that they DON'T care as much as we do...they just care in a different way. I would be willing to bet that most fathers care about their children just as much as mothers do. It's just that as females we were taught emotions are OK and you need to express them. Males on the other hand were taught not to show emotion because it's seen as weak. I know my boyfriend loves my son just as much as I do...I got lucky though, he shows it every chance he gets.

Probably because they don't. They didn't have to carry the baby inside them for 9 months, or push it out of their crotch.

Moms have a strong bond between themselves and the baby. For the longest time, my boyfriend didn't show any emotion towards out son. I know he loves him and would do anything for him but he shows it differently then I do. Guys,(my boyfriend) tend to hide their feelings. He grew up in a family where it was bad to show how you felt. He grew up around an angry dad and I however, grew up around lots of love and caring people.

Most dads do care. they absolutely adore their children. The only thing is, we seem like we care more because we have a stronger connection with our children. We know them from the day we learn we are pregnant. The father practically doesnt know his child until he/she is born.
