"My greatest creation are my children." I was a teenage mother, at 17. Now I am 46. My first weighed 9 lbs. 11 oz. I had only gained 17 lbs w/the pregnancy. Totally unexpected. He is now 28 and one big boy! :) I also have 5 others weighing in at 8 lbs. 3 oz.., 8 lbs. 12 oz. 7 lbs. 6 oz. 7 lbs. 11 oz. and the big finale, 10 lbs. Their weight at birth really has no bearing, necessarily, on what they will be like as an adult. My 10 pounder is a skinny, petite little 5 year old girl now!

Well I have three daughters Jade 6, Maddison 4 and Teleah 3 1/2 months, Jade was 4 weeks early and weighed 4lbs 15oz, Maddy was 6 weeks early and weighed 5lbs 1oz and Teleah was 2 days overdue and weighed 7lbs 9oz.

wow everyone thank you for your great replys about all of your beautiful babies, its nice to hear about all you wonderful stories and weights, my son is now 10 and a half months weighing in at just 16lbs hes still quiet small and hes just started walking, they say that most premature babies are slow learners but hes a very fast 1 and he has achieved all his milestones and more, he weighed 4lbs 9oz at 2 months early and has done a great job of growing even though hes under the average weight for a premie hes still so small and gorjus so thank you again everyone and keep those wonderful weights and stories coming in xxx

Apdate on previous weight.... at birth 2 weeks earlier my son weighed 7lbs12oz.... at 2 months 13lbs 11oz.... and now at a few days shy of 4 months my handsome little chunk weighs 18lbs 12 oz and is about 28 in long.... yay
