How do you feed a 13 mo who's teething molars and won't eat?

My son is 13 months old. I know at least one, if not both bottom molars are coming in. Lately he's refused anything on a spoon. He's good at self feeding, but I'm concerned he's not getting enough. This morning he cried when I tried to get him to eat at all. HELP!!

My son is 18 months olds and refuses to eat much when he's teething bad. He would wake in the middle of the night crying out for milk because he is still hungry. It won't last long and they will eat when they get hungry. It's hard and we're still getting through it since he only has 9 teeth so far! Rubbing their gums help if the teeth are right there to break through. Teething tablets are definitely a saver.

Thanks! He's eating banana slices, canned peaches, some noodles. He's just not eating as much. I did get him to eat some baby food that I had in the fridge, but just a spoonful.

I feel your pain. my son has been working on two top molars for over two months now and they are still not all the way broke through. Try offering something cool instead of warm. like applesauce perhaps and alternate with other foods. some days my son doesn't like anything too warm (or cold) depends on his mood I guess. also, try different spoons, maybe even an adult spoon (the cool metal may feel good on the teeth, or may not) good luck
