Hi Moms,

I'm a working mom, with a 2 yr old daughter who is now attending preschool full time. I used to work out in the mornings but now that we've got our daughter in school, I can't workout in the am anymore since I have to get into work really early in order to pick her up early as well ( I work 9 hour days so I can get every other Friday off).

My husband is in charge of taking our daughter to school. Evenings after work aren't a possibility since my husband works long hours and I have my daughter with me. I'd like to know what other mommies are doing in this situation? I'm gaining weight fast and it's so bad that my pants don't fit anymore! Sadly, I was this size when I was 4 months pregnant, and I'm not even pregnant so no excuse!!

Thanks for your help/advice.

Some fitness centres offer childcare. If you can find one, take advantage of it. If thats not a possibility then try to squeeze in as much exercise as you can during your daily routine. Take the stairs instead of the elevator, park your car in public parking (like at a mall closeby) and walk to work. If you're trying to lose weight you just have to worry about losing calories, nevermind strength training and such... the hardest thing for me is to stay motivated, like on the days when I'm like "ughh I don't feel like it". But you have to do it anyway!
