Does anyone have any tips on how to keep their child's clothes on? I have a 2yo who loves to take off her clothes. This sounds funny but out in public - this is not so funny. I have tried just about everything - I have even altered what clothes I buy her on how easy and item will be able to take off. Even pajamas are an issue. I buy zippered pj's, cut the feet off (b/c most I find have the feet) and then put them on her backwards! Any advice from mom's who have been through this - or anyone who just has some advice - would be great! Thanks!!! - Melissa

The more you fight it at home the bigger an issue it will be. Just let her romp around naked as in a few years she won't want to anyway. As for in public explain that it's okay at home but not proper in public.

For her to do it at home, don't worry about it.
My daughter will change her clothes many times throughout the day and some days will just wear a diaper but she knows that when we go out we keep our clothes on.
I agree with Juliana... Let her be a part of picking out her clothes when you do go out.

Well my daughter likes to take her clothes off too, mostly to change, she can change outfits up to 10 times a day if I let her! She also insists on wearing her swimsuit around the house...hhhmmm :/ Anyway, if we have nowhere to go I let her wear what she wants, but if we are going out I work out a compromise: ie she can pick the bottoms if I can pick the top, or she can wear here swimsuit underneath or she can pick the shoes etc..I also give her consequences for poor behavior and put toys or her in time out(depending on which one will be more effective at the time) I also reward her for good behavior and let her know she can wear whatever she wants when we get home (like a tutu or swimsuit) I try to let her control other things like bringing a purse or an umbrella so she feels she is "helping" ;) Good luck!!
