Another green idea today, again saving recycleable everyday household items for reuse in your craft projects! This time it's empty bathroom tissue rolls! There are so many fun uses for these.....why would anyone throw them away?!? Use them as fantastic, disposable toys for your children's hamster to have hours and hours of fun with. Or, using a rubberband and a piece of wax or tissue paper......kids can create a joyful kazoo! Stuff scented fabric sheets into them, and tuck them in small areas around your house for instant scented sachets. Use your imagination and see what else you can come up with....there are countless ways to reuse these items, and you can feel good about being just a little "greener"!

Also good as a bird feeder. Poke two holes in the top, smother in peanut buttter, roll in seeds. Thread in some string and hang! It is our weekly craft for the kids, and as they watch the birds come up the the feeder, they learn the names of the birds.
