Wow Kindle! Your redesigns are really great! I've delved into the world of redesign myself. More our of needing nice cheap furniture than really enjoying it! We used to have the side table with the gold accents you have pictured. Actually we had the whole set. My inlaws gave it to us when we were expecting. Then we found out it was a boy. I painted the gold sage green and put on different handles and it was perfect for a baby's room. Last year I cut a chest of drawers down and made a side table. I found it in the dumpster at our apartment. I really like your idea for reusing water bottles as light shades. I wish I would have seen it before I spent $20 on new shades for my chandelier! Keep up with the great projects!

Hey Alexii!

I do crafts of sorts in my home too. I upcycle lots of items and sell them on Cl, etsy, or arts fairs. My website is www.redesigdiva.com.

I do alot of interior redesign projects in my home out of curiosity more than necessity. I focus on the environment and reusing items, like painting an upholstered couch, making laptops bags from cardboard and fabric, rescuing roadside finds sprucing them up and selling them or using them in my home. My name is Eve. BTW I have a son named Alexei. Not sure how your name is pronounced. Alexei is pronounced Ah-lex-ay. Anyway, I went to PSU for art education. I was never able to get a teaching job in PA, too many applicants and too many hassles. I was finally able to SAH about 5 years ago. I like to knit, crochet, paint and right now I am beading. I also enjoy cooking and gardening. I'll pretty much try making anything I can. I have a 3-year old girl who loves to wear dresses so for awhile I made her dresses. I figure I would do it while she would still wear them.

Hi Alexii-----It's wonderful to meet you and have you in our group!!! Thanks so much for your introduction----hopefully, some more members will follow your lead and strat introducing themselves too!!!!

Anyway, I enjoy and create a very wide variety of crafts, myself. It started with jewelry several years ago, and somehow moved on to candles, then skin care products, then herbal teas, then gourmet doggy goods/products, then baby products and baby blankets, and ON and ON and ON!!! I make EVERYTHING right here in my home, and I take GREAT pride in that! My husband is SO supportive, I couldn't ask for a better partner.....and my son is my huge motivation! Without my wonderful family, I would not be able to do what I do, and enjoy it as much as I do!
