sleeping alone

since day one i have rocked my 3month old to sleep. she also takes a paci. this has been fine becuz i am the only one who puts her to sleep.until now. ive returned to work. and my baby sitter is not a huge fan of rocking her. finds it a inconvience. so ive been trying to let her go to sleep on her own, but the last 3months has trained her other wise. Any suggestions on how to switch her to soothe herself? any help would be great.
