This site is intended for foster/adoptive parents of older children. I noticed in the other sites that several moms adopted their children as babies while many of us are loving and caring for severly traumatized older children (over 7 years old). These children have memories of the abuse they suffered, and the healing is ongoing and difficult. This site is for these moms who need a place for support of their difficult situations, and a safe place to vent without judgment.
