Questions for those with more practice???
My daughter has been GF since Aug. She tested negative for Celiac but if gluten intolerant.
Any way, I have a couple of questions.
Our local super market has started carrying a lot of GF products. We are very fortunate. However, in the flour aisle where they have the GF cookie mixes and GF flours they are placed right next to the regular wheat/white flour. All are in bags but.... I am not one to worry about cross contamination but my fear is that true celiac will not buy it because it is next to the other stuff and then they will stop carrying it. Would this bother any of you?? Do you think it is worth bringing it to the attention of the store manager?
My second question is about medication? Do medication have gluten in them? All of them? which ones? Amoxicillan?
Finally, pure oats like cooked oatmeal....Is that OK?
