My 3.5 year old snores. We figured it wasn't normal but it doesn't seem to interfere with her sleep.

yea both of my children have been snoring from the time they were born till now. some people snore and some don't. there is no age for snoring.

I have a son who's about to turn 3 and he's been snoring since he was born. The only times that i get concerned about it, is if his snoring/breathing becomes erratic and unusual, which is how i knew something was wrong when he actually had Pneumonia. It all depends on the child as to whether snoring is normal or not.

My daughter is also 2 years old and snores & I have a 1 year old son that snores. I took my son to a ear nose and throat specialist and they want to take his tonsils and addenoids

She might have enlarged adenoids/tonsils. My daughter had a snoring problem and she also got a lot of sore throats and colds. We took her in to see a specialist and she ended up having her tonsilectomy and adenoidectomy. Now she doesn't snore at all, and no more really bad colds/sore throats!

My 3.5 year old snores sometimes but she has allergies & asthma so I've always just assumed that it was due to breathing difficulties.

I work with sleep specialists and it could be that she has a deviated septum. I would take her to the ENT doctor and have her nose looked at. or she has some fluid build up and making it hard for her to breath through the nose.

I have a 2 year old daughter and she snores, I guess it is normal, my son snored to. I have never thought to ask about it. They are healthy, they don't have any trouble breathing so I don't worry about it. Their father snores to, so maybe it is hereditary.
