we have found that duct tape on the tapes of the diaper help to stop them from pulling it off

My daughter does this all the time - She is now 3 but still needs a night time pull up. She was 1 when she would constantly whip off her diaper. I would allow her to run around with out and then take her to the toilet every now and again. Nothing would happen but she got used to being around the toilet. When she was 2 she'd take off her diaper at night and yes pee in my bed. I found that putting one on her while she was in a deep sleep, eliminated the accident. I also have Disney character pull ups! She loves frozen - So Ive said to her - night time is when you put your special Elsa pants on. As opposed to getting upset and chasing her with a generic diaper. Make it a special occasion for her. As for Daytime, if shes anything like my girl...id say leave it off :) It might be a constant clean up but she'll start to recognize that the toilet is for her to poop and pee, just like mummy.
