I have a daughter that is about to be two, I also have a daughter that is almost a month old... My oldest daughter here lately has been constantly taking her dipar off when i lay her down for bed... I have tried putting her in onsies, and she manages to stretch the neck out and get out of it.. if i put her in a sleeper she just unzips it and then takes the dipar off... i dont know what to do i have tried spanking her after she does it and she just thinks its a game. How can i break her of doing this?

Maybe try getting pull ups and letting her pick them, she might be ready for potty training.

She is ready for potty training. Is she taking it off because she is wet or just because she does not want it on. Stop fluids 1 1/2 to 2 hours before you lay her down it she is wetting. If she is not wetting you could use tape to keep it on.

My son did the same thing as your daughter i have found if you take duck tape and put it around the diaper tight enough she cant slip it off but lose just enough to where you can change her that seems to work good luck!

Try to find onsies with snaps at the neck, the back of the neck if possible! They don't stretch like the other kind do. Are you trying to potty train or anything? Sometimes its a sign of readiness, I think its just a normal phase, but if she is taking her diaper off during the day, I would start sitting her on the potty. Other things I have heard work for people is putting jammies with a zip or snap front on backwards. My daughter was really fun, she started undoing her diaper Through her clothes, that's about the time I switched to pull-ups!

Maybe it is time to start potty training. My daughter used to do that too but when I introduced her to the potty and into pull ups she was excited! Maybe your daughter taking her diaper off is a way of showing you she knows when her diaper is wet or dirty. That is of course if it is wet. I would not spank her for trying to send you a message that may make her feel like she is wrong for telling you or trying to show you she is ready to be a big girl. Good Luck!

My daughter was like that when she started potty training. We put her in pullups and big girl underwear over the pullups at night. She was so proud to be wearing regular underwear at night and the pullups kept her dry.

have you tried pull ups? someone told me that they're harder to get off than diapers. one mom on here suggested just panties at nighttime, because you mentioned that you're potty training, maybe she's ready to be done with diapers completely. if so, lucky you! lol:)

Definitely spanking would not be an ideal solution, especially at 2 years old.
if she truly does not want to wear a diaper to bed, put underwear on her, and make sure the bed had a good plastic cover on it. Its a good step toward toilet training

some kids like to be naked its nothing bad but if your concerned about peeing the bed at night put the potty chair by there bed it might surprize you they may be ready to be done with diapers and use the chair i dont suggest leaving it in there all day but try it for awhile at night and see if it works trail and error. it worked for my daughter night training went faster and easier then i would have imagined.

yea my daughter tells me when she has to potty when she is awake... but when i lay her down for a nap or for bed at night she just wants to strip out of her sleeper or onsie and out of her dipar... i have tried acting like its not a big deal but just made her do it more, i have tried spanking and she seems to still do it and i dunno what else to do... i mean she is in the potty training process but she still wants to be with out a dipar only when she sleeps... and i dont know why its only when she sleeps...
