My daughter has never been a great sleeper, and things don't seem to be getting any better. She is now 3 and potty trained at night, but wakes up crying 1-6 times a night. She won't settle unless I go through. I am currently trying the following:
Wait 5 mins to see if she will settle (occassionaly she will).
Generally she then says that she wants the toliet, she won't go by herself. So I take her, dont speak no eye contact and lead her back to bed. Leave, and then if she doesn't settle go back after 5 mins, again no talking etc and wait 2 mins. Leave and repeat every 10 - 15 mins unitl she sleeps.
She doesn't get out of her bed, just screams the house down.
Its been a week, and now only getting up 2-3 times, does that mean this is working?
