Hi I saw ur post and wanted to share my most recent party ideas. The theme was Cat in the Hat. It was so perfect for all the preschoolers that came. Dr. Seuss is used by many teachers so I was able to find many free printables and make each child their own booklets in folders. I also gave out goldfish as their souvenir which they loveddddd! I created the cake myself and took my idea to the bakery and they did it so well. It was an open book with a different pic on each side. My son dressed as the Cat in the Hat last Halloween so I used part of the costume for him as well. My husband and I also ordered "thing 1" and "thing 2" shirts and spray painted our hair blue. My brother created a cat in the Hat bingo game onto a dvd where we played on our big screen TV, made it so much easier to play with the little ones. We also printed some nice pics onto cardstock paper and used them as decorations. I found a pretty good deal on ebay of the original cat in the Hat plates, cups, napkins, pin the cake on the cat game and more. it was a really good price. we had so much fun with this theme. I hope this was helpful!

If your child likes any of the Disney shows, Playhouse Disney has all kinds of themed things online you can download and use for birthday parties. Games, decorations, all that kind of stuff. I don't work for them, I swear! But if you go to playhousedisney.com you'll find them. They also have games for eveyday, too. I like to print off their pictures for my son to color.

Quoting Mellissa:

Keep it simple (I don't like the last word so I won't say it)

I didn't like the last word either so instead I say "Silly."

We had a party at the house and invited a few friends over. We had pin the tail on the donkey, pass the parcel (you take a yo yo or an inexpensive child toy age appropriate and then wrapped as many layers as their are children and put candy in each layer so that every child went home with a prize at the end let one of the kids that came to the party WIN you play music and when the music stops a child opens the layer and get their prize) The kids loved the game and it was a HUGE hit of the party. Cake and Ice Cream are always a hit at any party. We also had TEAM games where the kids had to play together to get the cotton balls into the bowls across the room and see who could do it the fastest. Just try using the KISS theory works best with young one's!

I have done every party you can think of from parks , chuck e cheese , having the whole family at my house for cake and ice cream , and even just having me and the kids and my fiancee . And to my surprise my kids seem to have more fun when it was the whole family over so they could play with all theie cousins .... but that is just what my kids prefer .... I usually make a speghetti dinner with garlic bread because it is cheap and can easily feed alot of ppl .
