Any Ideas about what to put in an outside playhouse?

My 14 month old daughter recently got a play house for outside. It comes with a phone and a little table with built in chairs, but other than that there's really nothing in it. There's plenty of room to put some toys in it, but I'm at a loss of what to put it in for her to play with. Since we live in Florida it will be outside all the time so it has to be something that can survive the weather. I know someone on the step 2 website said they put a play kitchen it in, but I don't think a big play kitchen would fit in there. I was thinking maybe some cleaning toys. A vacuum etc. Just looking for some other ideas from other moms.

My dad made my daughter her very own playhouse for our backyard last spring (she's 3 now). We live in Washington so it sometimes rains. But she has her play kitchen inside of it with some dishes and play food, her vacuum cleaner, a broom and dust pan, a couple of gardening things. She had drew some pictures and we put them in plastic picture frames, and hung a couple of them up inside. We also have her Tinkerbell table and chair set and when its nice out, we'll let her take it out and have a picnic. She has an easel, but we keep that inside the house and then when she wants to play with it outside, we'll bring it inside her playhouse.

Try getting some cheap dishes, pots & cooking spoons @ the dollar store & she can cook on her table if you can't fit a play kitchen in there. Also you can get chalkboard paint for part of a wall for her to draw on or hang a dry erase board. In my sons' playhouse I hung a silly picture of them with their cousins on the wall in a cheap wood frame that is securely screwed to the wall; you can have any snapshot blown up into an 8x10. My boys love to "cook" with sand in their house. This spring I want to have them plant thier own flowers & maybe tomatoes by the playhouse that they can water w/ thier watering cans. I love the idea of a doll high chair & stroller for a girl. Have fun with it!

Garden tool toys are always fun to play outside.  Even my son loves to water the flowers with his watering can!

Hi Jen ( thanks for your comment on my question), a play kitchen ( if you can find a small enough one) would be fun my girls love to pretend to cook. They even pretend with out having a toy kitchen. They have plates and pretend food and that seems to work. The cleaning toys are fun too! stroller for a doll, cradle, highchair for the babydoll.

If I had the space I would love to have a play house for the kids outside. I live in Pa so it is not nice enough to have it out side year round any way. Hope you find some really fun toys for her to play with.
