My daughter took at least two weeks to poop in the potty. He will go when he is ready. The best thing is to be consistent with going to the potty. My girls were able to hold it so they went every 1-2 hours I would take them into the potty and I would give them rewards. A piece of candy or stickers or whatever works. He will get it don't stress. Good Luck!

I have the same exact problem. My son who is 3 refused to poop in the toilet. He insists on using a pull up. Some suggestions that I've heard of is putting his potty in his favorite place. Like in front of the t.v (as gross as it sounds). I've tried and it still doesn't work. Now, I just keep him in his underwear all day bvecause he knows he can't do it in there. He has held it for 2 days until he couldnt hold it anymore. I try my hardest not to put him in a pull up and have him just try out the toilet.. It works most of the time. As much as he cries for a pullup i refuse to give it to him. If he has to hold it until he can't anymore so be it.. at least hes goiing to let it go in the toilet. Be strong!
