My daughter likes the reward system. We made..together... her very own potty board. We put the days of the week on it and made it all pretty. She got to pic out her own stickers. So then we picked up a special candy dish/jar and some dum dum suckers..she has had only two suckers in her life but seemed to really like them so that is what I chose as her reward. After she goes potty in her potty chair or on the toilet we make a big deal of it and then go to the sticker chart. She gets to put the sticker on. For every 5 stickers she gets a sucker. At no other time can she have a sucker they are only for potty time!!! She seems to be doing great with it and I think we might be potty trained sooner rather than later! But overall..I would not push the whole potty training thing unless you have a deadline for school reasons. They will get it! Just make it available to them..like bring the potty chair into the room they are in most of the time then you do not have to run to the potty..it will eventually go back in the bathroom.
