My daughter is 2 yrs old and will be 3 in October. She refuses to sleep in her own bed at night. she use to sleep with me and my husband untill she turned 2 and now currently sleeps in her brothers room. She wakes up a lot at night crying if she realizes she is not with someone. I have tried night lights, leaving the door open and even leaving her tv on. NOGTHING IS WORKING!

yea my son doesnt have a problem with her sleeping in his room. Just when shen starts crying he wants her to get out lol. i think she just hasnt fully gotten over sleeping in the bed with me because a lot of nights she just cries to be in my bed

Can you leave her in her brother's room for now? Move her bed in there and bribe your son with something to sweeten the deal? Or give him an added privilege that he's been wanting. I can see why being all alone would be scary, and I can also see why you don't want her in your room! :) Again, what are brothers for, right? (or if you have a pet maybe you can convince it to sleep with her)

My husband and i have tried putting a tv in her room so she can watch her favorite movies, we decorated her room with her and got her Dora bedding (wich she loves) and she likes to watch tv and play in her room but when it comes down to sleeping she refuses to stay in her own room. we have to sit in the room with her untill she falls asleep and sometimes that could be more then an hour.

I have a disabled child that is 2 1/2 with Cerebral Palsy, She is sleeping in a crib still but for many reasons (cant crawl, walk etc). She was sleeping with her dad and i up until a month ago when we moved to our new home. She now shares a large bedroom with her five year old sister and loves their bedroom. Let her help decorate the room and the bedding. She wakes up 1-2x a night but she just turns her mobile on the crib on and goes back to sleep. Sometimes she will lay in my bed and watch tv and then ask to goto her bed to go to sleep. Just try to figure different ways around it.
