My 1yr old daughter is teething terribly. When she wakes during the night she's really screaming and doesn't know what to do with herself, sometimes not even a cuddle from mummy helps. We try the normal remedies - calpol, teething powders, bonjela. But wondered if theres any other tricks I might be missing!

Thanks :-)

Hylands teething tablets work great and nighttime baby orajel is a lifesaver!

orajel can cause choking because they cant feel anything in throat or mouth...,,Hyland homeopathic teething tablets....,,,work wonders!!!!!!!  help them sleep and take the edge off....too if you let them chew and suck on a wet chilled cloth that can bring down some of the swelling ......the tablets can be found in just about any health food store....... it says i believe to put them under the toungue....but ewww....i just disolve them on a spoon in a little bottled water and put it into a syringe....easy to administer and kids dont seem to mind....good luck

I give my son the nighttime Orajel before we put him to bed. I have also found that sometimes propping where they lay their head a little also helps. For us, we put some towels under our son's crib so it is a little propped up by where he lays his head, but not too much.

my heart goes out to your little one it is so hard on them I use to put a teething ring into the freezer for about 20mins and then rub bonjela onto it and let them chew on it , it helped my boys .
