Any work from home opportunities that are for real?

I have two great kids, one is 14 the other is 4. I was recently laid off from my job. Neither one on the my kids father's helps me financially. I am having a very hard time finding work. Anyone know of work at home opportunities that are for real? I need to do something?

Maybe it's just me, but everyone of those "opportunity" posts sounded shady. If it really is a good work from home business with little or no risk, if you really love it, wouldn't you describe it in more detail. Everyone's post sounded similar like the standard speach the company gives you to try to reel people in to a pyramid scheme. I would love to find a true work from home job but I'd be more interested in finding a company that would allow me to do transcription from home. Or maybe to try to start an in home daycare but I would have no idea how to get started with this. Oh well. Good luck everyone. Keep your eyes open and retain a healthy amount of cynicism.

You work with other moms making your home safer for your kids because the products are not toxic I don't sell anything, I don't have to carry an inventory it is a very low start up cost and there is no parties. Why not try starting a daycare from home. Both my husband and I work and had a hard time finding child care when we moved to the area.

The other thing that I can suggest is: My daycare provider got me into being a website owner fo a shopping portal. It has brought my family in some extra cash. It is not for everyone but it's worth a glance. www.shoptoearn.net/beansmom

Have you ever tried being a secret shopper? I don't think it is a full time thing. I am not sure how you get started either. Good luck. :)

I sell Watkins. Its a home business however you do ahve to leave ur house and what not. you have to sell house hold things: look up www.watkinsonline.com that will give you an idea of what it is. If you are interested please let me know. You do need to leave the house tho and like do parties and what not. Just a thought
