My daughter will be two in Nov and I dont have any ideas for her party. I have tons of family coming from out of town because they missed her 1st bday. I was thinking of cupcake theme and renting a jumproom but since her bday is before thanksgiving and christmas I need to be on a budget. Help please

Well, since it's in Nov. (My daughter will be 2 on Nov 16th) for her 1st b-day party we did a "Snow Day" theme. We put up snowflake Christmas lights. And bought some of the spray so you can make your windows & mirrors look frosted. Also from Wal-Mart we bought these little peel & stick window clings so we had "snowflakes" inside. (They were $1 a sheet at Wal-Mart, so perfect for a budget.) If she's into arts and crafts, you can make snowflakes out of paper and snowmen from styrofoam balls (like the ones we used to use to make the solar system when we were younger) and put faces on them and dress them. Hope this helps!

I thought about going all out for my daughter (she'll be 2 in Oct), but I was advised against it. So I said I would do a little party at either McDonalds or Chuck E Cheese. Those are places she loves, so try to have it somewhere she loves to go, or have one at home with Nick Jr Characters like the previous ladies say.

for my daughters second birthday we hired a petting zoo and they brought everything from ponies to ride to bunnies and billy goats. It was great the theme to her party was a hoe down since we had the ponies and the birthday hats were pink cowgirl hats and for boys blue cowboy hats. and whats a party without a piniata.

Oh! One cool thing I did do was get some arts and crafts supplies and make everyone design their own fun page for coltan's birthday. Then you string them all into a cute little book for him. I'm gonna have it done for all my kids every year. I think it would be neat for him to have a birthday book for all of his birthdays so he knows who was there and how many people thought he was special.

I had a spongebob party for my son when he turned 2. I didn't go all out or do anything fancy because at two he really wouldn't appreciate all that big fun stuff. I made sure there were a LOT of balloons, though, because they are so fun to play with. We had cake and had some of his little buddies over and he had a really good time. It was very inexpensive and everybody seemed to enjoy themselves. The moms hung out and played with the kiddos and the dads played paintball in the backyard. Everybody was happy! :)

If I had had a little girl I would have wanted to to a princess theme. I know it's a little cliche' but what little girl doesn't like princesses and ponies?

You don't have to get all fancy shmancy, though. Like Jen said, she will probably be more interested in her friends and new toys than anything else.

Good luck!

My son will be two next month and it's SO easy. He absolutely ADORES Thomas the Tank Engine. Just go with what she likes. Does she like Dora? Maybe the Wonderpets, like Jen's daughter? Having a GREAT birthday party doesn't have to be expensive. Oh, and a little thing I do for my son to make the day extra special is I design him a t-shirt for his birthday. This year, because it's a train theme, the shirt will say CHOO CHOO! I'M TWO! on the front and the back will have his name and the number 2.

I'm not too sure she would be ready for a jump room. It might still be too big and scary (unless she has been in one before). My daughter will be 2 December 1st and we're having a Wonder Pets themed party. I'm going to make the fly boat cake and some cupcakes dressed like the characters. I haven't thought of any games yet, but I don't think my daughter would be interested in anything other than playing with her friends and new toys.

If your daughter is interested in any Nick Jr. characters they have tons of party ideas on their website. You could also just stick with a birthday princess theme. If there will be older kids you might want to plan a pinata or a treasure hunt. For birthdays in our family we just like to enjoy each others company there doesn't have to be jumper things to do that. Good luck.
