Pooja,

The food and decoration needs to be based on the theme of your party. In case you are having a theme party, make food that reflects the party theme such as heart-shaped sandwiches for princess and fairy parties and celery snacks ‘ant on the log’ for garden theme parties, mini trucks made by joining Oreo biscuits and wafers for under-construction party. For decorations, use supplies in theme color such as lots of white and black balloons for racing or soccer theme party. If you haven’t chosen any theme, you could always go with the evergreen ideas. Here are some options that are sure to help you.

First choose a theme based on what he likes, may be a specific character. Food and decoration should also be planned accordingly.

i saw a construction site themed party for a 2 year old boy. it was adorable! the cake had big orange construction vehicles on it digging into the cake and it said something like "terrible two's, under construction" on it- so cute!!!
you could also do trucks, planes, trains, cowboys, etc. as themes.

You can do blue and red directions of his favorite thing for examples cars the movie. This would make the party personal. Food should all be figure foods like cheesedo's. or fruit cut up. Do his favorite food if you can.
I just had a party for my little girl we did a princess themed and did all finger foods with small fruits and played pin the tall on the donkey, tag, musical chairs now that was a favorite. We did puzzles and board games as well so that the children did not get board. I hope this helps you for your little boy:)
