Hello! My little girl will be 1 at the end of June and I have having a hard time time thinking of things to do. We have lots of friends without kids and lots of friends with kids around her age, up to 4 years old. We don't exactly want to plan a house party... do any of you have any suggestions for parties or what did you guys do for your little one's 1st birthday??

Hello
Im from Australia and have two girls. I love having parties for them and here in Australia it is popular to go to a park (big playground with big grassed areas) and have the party there - if the weather is good. I had no real theme for my one year olds party just some games - pass the parcel, running races that all ages can play and have a ball for the guys to kick around. I wait for them to get a little older and know what is going on - eg this year my oldest was 3 and she loves fairies so we had a fairy party and she loved it.
