I am constantly surround by my 4 yr old so who is bursting with energy 24/7 x 100
Even his voice is wound up all the time making him sound like Mickey mouse strung out after no sleep. I need some tips to help me and to help my son relax, calm himself and refocus onto the task at hand,

A balance of good fun active activities balanced with some sit down quiet activities.
So lots of time playing outside coupled with some down time of reading a book together or doing a puzzle or some arts and crafts.

Definitely get him more active outside to get that energy out. Maybe even get him into a tumbling class or something to give yourself a break and give him some social time and energy release. Good luck!

RUN RUN RUN!!! Make sure he's got lots of physical play during the day. This past spring my hubby put a fence up around part of the yard because my 23 month old boy goes nonstop. It goes out the kitchen door and has all kinds of toys, swings, sandbox, etc. I can hear the kids when they are out there but still get stuff done in the house. We just put a light screen door on the kitchen so they can come in and out.

Go to the park, let him run around. Make sure he is getting plenty of active playtime. We have quiet playtime at our house. Its typically after dinner and its either puzzles, reading or snuggling and watching a movie. The energy that little boys have at 4 is exhausting. My son gets up at 6ish and can go non stop until 8 at night. Fortunately he gets plenty of yard playtime at school so when he comes home he is tired. However, on the weekends by the end of the day I feel like I got run over by a truck.
