My son turned 2 in may and his circumcision isn't a circumcision. i know that sounds weird but when they did it apparently they didn't take enough skinned off or something so i still pushing it down to make it look right. i thought that maybe as he grew it would just sort itself out but it hasn't and i'm kinda worried that i may have to do it again. i don't want too but i hoping you ladies could give some advice? maybe its happened to you and your son? what should i do???? should i talk to his pedi? i don't know where to start?

Help please!??!

it sounds very normal from what i have read my son is 2 yrs 7mth and ISNT done, the thought never even crossed my mind until my boss, a bloke was holding him at 6 days old and asked! i looked at dad and we both went ummmm no not happening!!!! my mum was a nurse and since my son was born and the topic arose she informed me that she had assisted in many and even tho the infant doesnt remember it or the pain she couldnt stand the thought that he would hafta go thru it!!

neither could i really, but THAT is MY opinion and i dont begruge you at all!!! if he want doen correctly then it could lead to problems in later life and call for more to be snipped off then, a procedure my mate who was done in his mid 20's said was a very painful process. but like you said he has been done but obviously not quite enough, he may be ok with whats happened but he needs to know about cleaning it properly otherwise he could get infections and complications from it. my son had an infection at 2yrs old and it severely put back his toilet training however after medical advise he his still not done and i will do my best to keep him that way.

sorry im babbaling! check with your doc and if your not happy get a second opinion if necessary.

either way he will adjust and if more needs to be done make sure there is the proper anisetic and pain meds for after :) good luck

My son isn't circumcised, but if you're feeling like it's necessary to push things around on his penis, that doesn't sound like a good thing. I was told to just leave it alone other than wiping it. I think you should probably go see his doctor just to make sure everything is alright.
