Chick peas are an easy finger food. My daughter also like edamame (soybeans) which are usually sold frozen. Cheerios are a staple around here and, I learned today, even half an avocado has a couple of grams of fiber.

My daughter loves prunes. I buy the dried ones and cook about 1/2 dozen in a little bit of water to soften them. I used to put them through the baby food mill, now I just mash them up with a fork. I mix them with plain yogurt and a little cinnamon and she eats them right up. I give them as breakfast or dessert or even a snack. This works very well for us.

my lil one suffers big time on occasion... i buy pitted prunes and boil them for a while then wizz them into a paste in the blender with a little water (you really need to boil them first). i then freeze them in ice cube trays. when she is suffering i defrost one and add it to her wheet bix in the morning until she has everything under control again. they are actually really sweet and can also be added to yoghurt but my lil one really likes them in her breaky.
