The warm air vaporizer is a must. and then use the Vicks Vaporub on her chest and throat, AND ON THE BOTTOM OF HER FEET WITH SOCKS. Crazy as it seems my mom told me about reading this somewhere, we tried it and it worked amazingly! My daughter demands it now when she starts to cough-

Yep, vapor rub, humidifier/vaporizer, and steam. Depends on what the cough is, too: if it's more like croup or if it's not too productive, you can try sitting with her in the steamy bathroom (shower running hot) for about 10 mins then bundle her & take her outside for 2-3 mins. That helps loosen things too, if the steam's not working alone. And lots of patience!

Baby vapour rub and a steamy room. Leave the shower running and keep the child in the room. Works great.

vapor rub, cool mist humidifier and a crib wedge under her mattress. also, run the hot shower in the bathroom before giving her a warm bath. the warm steam will help loosen anything in her chest.

What does the cough sound like? I have a five month old and she had a nasty cough with her cold and we used Baby VaporRub on her chest and throat, kept her dry and the humidifier running. If that doesn't help seek your Pediatrician.
