a few months ago, i thought my daughter was ready to start potty training, but she didnt go on the potty once in a week, so i decided to hold off a few months and see where we were. now she is showing more signs of readiness and so we try it out again. at first i have her sit on the potty all day and she went quite a few times and i would cheer and she gets to put a sticker on her chart, yada yada. well, this was going well for a couple of weeks, she went on her own a few times, had little accidents and now, it seems like she will just hold it until naptime when she gets a diaper...or have an accident. did i mistake her readiness or is this normal? should i slap a diaper back on her again wait another couple months or is that going backwards? any suggestions are helpful! thanks!
