Do most 2 year olds ask a lot of questions?

My 2 year old, he will be 3 in 2 months, has been asking a lot of questions and asking, 'what is that?' a lot lately. I haven't really heard a lot of 2 year olds that are interested in asking questions about things... and I am a single mother and he has been saying, 'Daddy', a lot lately too. His friends all have daddy's but I never mention the word around him and don't really understand and I kind of feel bad...

My daughter is two and she asks a million questions about anything and everything. She has already gone through a why phase but I am sure there will be another.

The questions never stop I have a 4 year son and 2 year daughter my son ask more questions than any one. I wasn't with sons father for a long time and he would always say daddy but daddy is just a common word for kids I wouldn't worry about that right now just try to keep his mind on other things

at that age yes they do ask a lot of questions and it gets worse just wait for the why? As for the daddy it is a word he has learned and is using doesn't mean he is asking for a daddy just presenting you with his new word don't make a big deal out of it and he will tire of the word and move on to another one.
