I have 2 boys with 2 seporet fathers my eldist is Harry 3yr 4 in july son of previace relationship and my youngest Marley nearly 8months who is my OH nows son but the thing is i have no idea how to look after my eldist b/c he lives with his dad and i havent seen him in nearly a yr and now im going to be seeing him again hopefully soon im tryin to get access to him at the mo long story and aparently he still isnt potty trained and i have no idea what to do i dont know what he likes or dislikes i realy feel like im goin to mess things up and im trafide from it i realy dont want to mess things up and im terifide hes not goin to benifit from seeing me again im drivin my self mad with this what can i do?
any sugestions. xxx

Just breath... there will be a period of adjustment and don't go hard core with all the things like toilet training and the time you have with him before hand make it nice... just talk to him and get to know him.. when you have more access gently start things make little changes but make anything new exciting... toilet training get him to go shopping for his underpants and other things make it a game.. it wont feel so scarey and that his whole world has been flipped... Even though you haven't seen him and haven't had much time with him you will work it out but keep in mind you will need to still set the boundries and explain to him what is ok and what isn't.. Good Luck
