My 18 month old baby girl is refusing to eat anything! Before this, she was eating really good. Why all of the sudden did this change? Is it true that she might be teething??

Just try to give her enough water. Make sure she drinking good. As for the eating, it will take time for her to get back.

It true that the baby could be teething. lots of fluids and and health supplements would be a good idea and you when preparing food please try to ensure that the food is not sweet of salty at that age the are beginning to recognize tastes as in what they like and don't like, remember though young you are dealing with an independent mind.

is your daughter eating any better now? My daughter is almost 3 yrs old and she doesn't always eat much either. One day she will eat spinach and the next day won't like it. what I've been doing is blending fresh fruits and veggies together with a little yogurt. It works...she drinks it and shes getting her veggies too. I drink them myself....pretty filling too.

My grandson is 2 and half. And is a really finicky eater. He is very little for his age, and he barely eats. His weight was 21lbs last office visit. So I researched, and read all the trials and errors of a lot of parenting blogs. Came up with high calorie recipes, and found out that in my opinion carnation milk is way better than pedia sure. And it really packed on the pounds. Try finding out what your baby likes most, and run with it. My grandson loves grits, so I made them with heavy whipping cream, and butter. Or I would cut up bite size bananas for him to snack on, and i would always talk to him as we shop for his food. I would let him know you did awesome today, let's get some ice cream. And we would get a big unhealthy bowl. Pack on the calories, worry about eating habits later. Have fun with it, I know it's frustrating to see your little one refusing to eat. Even though your toddler know how to feed themselves, you feed him as well. Make it a fun, eat with them. Trust it will work out, cause he is turning into a little porker over here. Hope this help someone

My daughter has gone thru the same thing and so does my son... In times like this I give them pediasure to supplement any nourishment that may be loss ...if it continues she may need speech therapy to help with feeding !!! Good luck
