I have two sons on age 3 years, 3 months and 2 years old. We are playing with everything we can. I am looking for some interesting ideas of new fun home activities for my kids.

one of the greatest activites is goop.....cornstarch and water, when you touch it is a solid but run you finger through and it becomes a liquid...I use and under the bed storage tub or one of the dish washing tubs and let them have at it, even on carpet because when you are done if any is on the carpet it vacumms right up[ and it is cornstarch....freshens the carpets while you are at it!!!

How about a sock fight!? It's like a snow ball fight with balled up socks. Also you can put wax paper on their feet, wrap it onn with rubber bands and let them skate on the floors. IF they're not allergic to peanut butter you could also have them help you make play dough they can eat!! peanut butter, powder sugar and honey ""(I forget the amounts of each) Another favorite was to get an an empty egg carton, fill it with dobs of shaving cream, use food coloring and let them "paint " one another backs or the bath tub. It's easy to clean, and they smell nice after wards too. Some people even put wax paper on the table, and :"finger paint" with the shaving cream. These are some things we did when ours were younger. (Have you did a fort with a bed sheet over a table or chairs and have them camp out?) Hope you have fun.

pretend fishing..stick with string tied to end and sticky tape on end of string..cut out pictures with them and then "catch" pictures with tape...includes the making of fishing rod and game of catching..can take up a bit of time and is good 4 basic skills..tried it just the other day and went well...or make instant pudding and let them finger paint paper, themselves or each other...stole that off john and kate +8..

we bake and then I let him decorate the cookies, sponge painting, build forts out of anything(sheets, boxes)(if you use boxes it will last and he will have a few days of fun decorating it with stickers, crayons etc.), hide and seek, treasure hunts, we always make some sort of craft to do with whatever holiday is coming up, make your own instruments using stuff around the house and "rock out" (my son loves this), glue macaroni and other things from the kitchen on paper or a piece of wood and let him paint them, I have workbooks that we do to practice numbers and letters, make a paper towel roll telescope and build a pretend ship out of something and let him be a pirate

Kids that age love to crawl through tunnels. Something like this might be fun to pick up: http://www.amazon.com/Pacific-Play-Tents... You can get all kinds of tents and things to attach to it. It's like a little human habitrail! LOL
