Ok, my son is 2 1/2 years old and been potty trained since he was 21 months. He just started daycare (home childcare) back in Jan. and he has went bawards in his potty training. He's peeing on himself now and wetting the bed. And not only is he wetting himself, he's stinking on himself too. Before daycare he was going to the bathroom by himself and sleeping without pull ups. What should I do?

I agree with Vicky, it could be the change..perhaps he isn't comfortable with the new daycare provider taking him to the potty. Also, maybe she isn't reinforcing what you are doing at home with potty training.

A few things could be the problem, 1st going to the daycare is a big change for a child and sudenly it is not the same routine so they go backwards in their potty training. I would give it some time and see what actions the daycare provider is doing. If she is making him feel worse for wetting himself she might be making things worst. She also has to make sure to remind him often that he has to go. I had a little bit of a hard time with my daycare provider because she was not ready to potty train my son. Just keep an eye on it, maybe once he settles down at the new daycare he will get back to a good potty routine. ;0)
