I have a 2yr old son that was also just diagnosed with a mild form of ASD/PDD NOS. I have already started him with therapy thru early intervention but he also needs behavioral therapy. I have been doing so much research and asking so many questions. I worry daily about his prognosis and what his life will be like in the future. All I can offer u is to educate urself as much as u can and get all the services and therapies available to u ASAP. His chances for a better future will increase dramatically

My sister ... the next steps not sure if dad's at home. if yes then you both have to work this new change together as a loving family. If no dad at home I hope you have a close family member or friend . it's hard but with support I know your son will be find . a good daycare for children with delays. one day at time..... sometimes one hour at a time . read and learn all you can about autism.
