Does anyone have advice on how I can get my son to stay under the covers when he sleeps? He is almost 3 and is so wiggly when he sleeps that he comes out from under the duvet every night? I'm in the UK and its coming on for winter now and getting colder, so I would really like him to stay warm as he is waking up now with a runny nose and a cough because he's getting cold at night. I usually have to get up and cover him every night which means I am never getting a full night's sleep.

If you see this, leave this form field blank.

Esih I'm also struggling with my 19mo old daughter! I make sure she has a vest under her pyjamas and def some socks/ winter (woolen) tights.

Ohh, hard one. My daughter was the same way until recently, but it was summer so it wasn't as much of a problem. The thing is - kids know to cover themselves up when they're cold at night if they absolutely need to - so apparently, your son's not too cold in his mind. You obviously know different, if he's getting sick, my best advice would be to make sure he has warm socks on when he does sleep unless you want to start monitoring him while he's sleep and constantly covering him up
