Yes your on the right track. She might not want to use the small potty she may olny want to use the big potty. My daughter only wanted to use the big potty so I brought one on those seats for children that go on the big potty she loved it because she felt like a big girl. Also keep in mind that she is still a little young not as in too young to use the potty but as far as sitting still for periods of time. Also don't push her she will go when she's ready.

i would say try to potty train he/she if you are ready, i started potty trainin my lil boy 22 months and hes now 2 years and 3 weeks old and fully dry through day, i started letting him run round the house just with a t-shirt on and takin him to the toilet/potty every 30 mins and if he did sum thing in the potty i was praise him and show him i was very happy with him but put a nappy on when i went out of the house i did this for 3 week, then once he was dry in the house i started taking him out with no nappy on and just putting him on a toilet everytime i was near one, then after abart 3 week he started telling me when he needs to go, i think if you do this and ask he/she if he/she needs a wee or poo everytime you take her to the toilet/potty she will learn to tel you when he/she needs to go, also i used a sticker chat, my little boy loved it, hope this helps you

I think so, How old is she? With my daughter, When I could I would let her wear panties at home, when she would pee in them I would remind her that she needs to use the potty. If I knew she needed to pee I would sit her on the potty. She eventually got the hang of it and realized what she needed to do.

She is 19 months old... she doesnt really wear nappies through the day, and when she wee's i tell her that thats wat the potty is for.... wen she signals she needs to wee, ill put her on it, but she'll get strait up and wee elsewhere!!!! how long did it take you to toilet train your daughter?

It took a long time. I started when she was 18 months, and realized she was not ready, then when she was about 21/2 I started again, and she was fully trained in a few months.

It takes a long time and alot of patients. Start potty practice. Dont expect her to be succesful just get het into the routine of pulling her pants down, sitting and then wiping and hand washing after. Kids like routnines and little ones love the hand washing. I even found some fun soaps in the store to make it more fun. Then give it 6 mos to a year before she is completely trained. Something no one ever told me but i figured out after 4 children.

for the first week I would sit them on the potty chair with their diapers on and tell them that this is where they go potty at then the next week or two I would let them sit on it without anything. After that I would take potty breaks every 15 to 30 mins depending on how much they have had to drink. When they kinda start getting the hang of it my mom made up a potty dance that we did everytime they would us the potty. It take paitiance and time best of luck
