Any tips? He just doesn't stop. He was colouring this morning, then I look over to see a crayon hanging out of each nostril! Well, it's true that I laughed, but really he needs to stop this nonsense. Every small thing goes in his nose and/or ears. And then he says "Tickle!" and laughs. Even the fork at mealtime. I'm afraid he'll really injure himself, or lodge something up there. In the bestcase scenario, it's still really unattractive.
He will obey if I make a huge deal about it, making him repeat "No fork in nose, no fork in ear" and that will last for that particular item for about 10 minutes. But I don't really want to do that for everything. Paying so much attention to it might make it worse, for one thing, plus I just don't have the energy for something so never-ending. I mean, forbidding every single item he comes across individually? I just want him to stop doing it at all! Help?
