Just read an article that a 2 year old biked 3 miles to visit his sick grandma. He's fine.....but would your kids do something that crazy? Actually now that's he's safe, it's very cute.

My 4 year old would do it in a heartbeat. Especially if he thought someone might need his help. He has actually taken th German Shepard and tried to go find his older sister at school. He didn't get far before I noticed they were gone and frantically began searching and found them, but he is very indepedent and looks up to his older sister and all she gets to do.

my two year old is very independant but she wouldn't do something that dramatic she knows not to be outside by herself..it is really cute though

I'm sure if I let my daughter she would try to do something like this but it wouldnt happen because that is simply it, crazy. She is very independent but I try to have boundries with it and rain it when need be. She does go into the local shop with me and I stand back and let her buy her own juice and pay for it, she 2.5 so she thinks thats pretty cool. She knows that she isnt allowed out the front without my husband or me.

My 7year old daughter would , shes very independent but my son is such a wuss I promise you he'd freak out and hes nearly 3 yrs old. Hes a mommies boy no matter how hard I try weening him off me it doesn't work

Mine would not do it. Not even at 5 and 7. They know they need to ask before going anywhere, and have been grounded for not doing it. Plus at 2 they were both great kids and did as they were told. My almost 2 year old probably would get scared as soon as he left the yard and come home.

No, my son is pretty independant for his age but not that independant.

I can totally see our son doing something like that; he has a huge heart and is super independent. Plus he loves to go for bike rides! :)

I could see my 2 year old doing something like that, she's pretty independent and fearless. My 6 year old on the other hand won't even ride a bike.....well actually he's just starting to try it. He over analyzes everything so I don't worry about him doing anything dangerous.
