I had my last depo injection the beging of march and didn't get my first period untill the middle off january.... they say you should give it a year to come back after that then go dr's. i had been off the depo 2 years (but only been having periods a year) when i fell pregnant with twins (with no twins in the family) and have found out that because of not having periods for how ever many years when they come back your body is trying to sort itself out and adjust so some times releases more than one egg during your period... so could be a multipul birth. not to turn you off just think you should have fair warning, dr's dont seem to tell you all this and you have to find out on your own. good luck on getting pregnant but could be un till november b4 you get you next period so just wait it out and have lots of fun practicing untill they come back :)

Unfortunately, it's not unheard of for it to take 12-18 months for fertility to return after stopping the depo shot. This is definitely something that doctors need to be more honest about when offering this form of birth control to their patients. Hopefully things will happen sooner for you!

I'm in the same position as you. We are trying for a second and I've been off since November too...still no period. I'm glad I'm not the only one but I'm about to call my doctor since I thought I'd have something by now. Good luck on your end.
