Hello! so my son is 25 months old and he sleeps in his own bed. He is very tall & we transitioned to a bed because of safety concerns. I have 4 different books on sleep training... crying it out all the way to noncry method. My husband thought they were foolish & I was being overboard. He thought if we layed down with him in the bed until he fell asleep itd be no big deal. We argued a lot abt this so I gave up & went with his method. Well here we are 3 months in & its a nightmare. Its anywhere from a 30 min to 2 hour process until he falls asleep. 1/2 the nights one of us accidentally falls asleep trying to get him to sleep. Needless to say this is bad all around. Does anyone have any advice on how to break this habit? We also have a 9 month old son & so we cant let our oldest cry too much because he wakes ouor youngest up. Any advice is sooo appreciated!
