I am now trying to get my 3 year old son to be fully potty trained. The thing I am having issues with is getting him to poop on the toilet and not in his pants. I take him to the bathroom every 30 minutes to and hour (depending on how much he drinks). But he will not go poop on the toilet. He doesn't poop the same time every day. It changes on me so I can't say "Okay, its 10:00 he should be ready to poop". Please help me, any advice on this would be greatly appreciated. :)

There is a video on YouTube called poop goes in the potty. It's kinda silly but it might help

Watch him for signs that he needs to poop. My daughter at 15 months would hold her bottom when she had to poop, when she was younger she would grunt. She also used to have accidents in her underwear around the same place in the house, so I put her potty chair in the general area and that worked for us. Good luck!
