My friend always makes it fun rather than the dreaded "eat your vegetables!" So they call broccoli "trees" and have fun names for everything. Also, if mom & dad make a fuss about how good it is, they're more likely to at least try it. If you're concerned about nutrition, there is an awesome book called Deceptively Delicious by Jessica Seinfeld. She hides pureed fruits and veggies in everything. Even desserts!

My now 3 year old girl has always been a picky eater. She is my first and I remember getting frustrated because she wouldn't eat what was offered. I'd worry she was not eating enough and resort back to what I knew she would eat too often (mostly noodles). I think there was a month or two that all she ate was noodles, cheese, and black beans. I felt very guilty. She will now (finally) eat veges and fruit if I don't make a big deal out of it and if her friends eat it.

My daughter is almost 2. She was always a good eater when she was tiny. Now I feel you. I really do. She won't even try anything new. And some things she use to love she refuses to eat now. I just keep offering and hoping when she's older she'll be more willing to try a bite at least. Sometimes I have to hide or mix food in with her yogurt to get her to eat any vegetables.

Just keep offering new stuff over and over again. Don't give in and feed him the same old stuff that he always has. If they aren't available, he'll have to eat some new foods. It's tough, but he won't let himself starve.http://www.circleofmoms.com/toddler-moms...
