You just have to try different things and see what your child resonds to most. For us we put her in big girl undies and told her not to get them wet. When she would go on the potty we would give her a small reward. After a few days of wearing the big girl undies and a few accidents she knew she didn't like the wet feeling of urine in her pants since it was different than the absorbent diapers. Be patient and be consistant.

I'm going through that myself right now! So far we have been using regular girl panties, Dora or TinkerBell ones, that way if she wets her pants, she feels it. Also, we have a little potty chair in the main part of the house, and a little seat that goes in the bathroom on the big potty. So far it's going ok, but I'm concerned because it seems to becoming a game to her now. I don't like the idea of those pullups because to me they are to much like diapers, but we use them when we have to leave the house! I'm sorry I couldnt' be of more help, but I"m right there with you, going through it as well.

OMG!!!! Girls are easy.....boys is where it gets tough. if I train your girl can you train my soon to be 2 year old boy. With girls you have to get the pretty panties.....and let her see you go a couple of times....make it a date when you go take her too....reward her only when she goes in the potty, but don't spank her if she has an accident.....talk to her explain everything....tell hel big girls use the potty babies wear diapers

I kept my son's potty in a private corner of the living room where he could go himself when he wanted to, without an audience. That way there wasn't so much pressure to 'perform'.
Hope this helps, Ange. x

My daughter was always more responsive if she tried to go at the same time as me. So when I went, her potty chair was near the big toilet and she'd sit with me. They learn best by watching others. Good luck!
